Marilyn’s design motto is that every space should be an extension of the owner, their personality and their style. Otherwise what’s the point of interior design? Her main goal is to help clients get from point A to point B with style, function and grace. Marilyn’s passion for design stems from the love of helping people discover that they hold the key to creating the space of their dreams.

Marilyn G Russell is the President/Principal Designer of Design Magnifique, an up and coming interior design firm in Orlando, FL. With her business management degree in hand, Marilyn went on to earn her bachelor of fine arts degree in interior design, a winning combination to successfully starting and managing her own design firm. While working on her degree, Marilyn had the opportunity to study history of interior design and architecture in London, which intensified her respect for classic interior spaces. More importantly, Marilyn gained the knowledge and understanding of how design practices of the past influences design practices of today.

Marilyn has since served as a judge on the OlioBoard ‘ManCave’ contest, participated in speaking engagements at the Orlando’s International Academy of Design & Technology campus and is a member of Orlando’s Habitat for Humanity’s Family Selection Committee.

When not designing, Marilyn may be spotted blogging, tweeting, pinning, facebooking or sharing her contagiuos laughter with friends and family.
